Date Night

Cody took me on a date last night. We ate at Chick-Fli-A and went to the movies. We saw Horrible Bosses. It was really funny!! I highly recommend it!

Not much is going on this weekend. Luke and his dad are going to a PBR event in Thackerville. Luke is beyond thrilled. He keeps naming off bull riders he’s going to see. It is funny!

Cody and I are going to a dinner at the school on Saturday night from 5-7. It is some sort of introduction/welcome back thing. Could be interesting!

Kauai

As most of you know, Cody went to Kauai the first week of July with his family. Let me mention too his Dad does some photography in his free time! So needless to say, I couldn’t wait to check out his pictures from the trip! They gave Cody 3 CDs of all the pictures last week. I checked them out tonight, picked some of my favorites to share with you. Just seeing these makes me wish I was back there on the beach!!!

TROPICAL PARADISE

I can't wait to get started. I have found some many great ideas already! Now I just need to get them put into action. We aren't allowed into our classrooms until August 8. Which means I will have right at 2 weeks to get my room ready! I will make sure to post pictures of all the progress...

Luke and I are headed to Marval's this weekend. Cody and the kids left today to go up there. We will meet them up on Friday and stay until Monday. I told him he better not catch any big fish until I get there. To which, he told me I just cursed him. :)

Mom and Dad are leaving for Alaska on Friday. They will be gone for 2 weeks. What will Sister and I do without them!?!?!

I have been in a workshop all week for school. I am getting a few great ideas but it is hard taking Luke to daycare. I guess I need to get used to it since he'll be going every day starting in less than a month! I guess Momma got a little to used to being home with him everyday!

Meeting the parents

I took Mr. McElhaney and the kids home to meet my parents, sister, and Gma today! I think it went rather well. Gma loved the fact he brought her some veggies from his garden. Sister bantered with him. And Dad and him talked hunting, fishing, and guns! I believe this on is a keeper for sure!!

Cody took all of us to the lake today for some fishing. There were a lot of sandbass caught. And we might have gone for a swim!!!
