Reminiscing

Cody leaves for Kauai on Saturday. He'll be gone for 7 days. Of all the places we went while we were in Hawaii in March, Kauai was my favorite!! I am so jealous!!!!

Marval Trip #3

Cody and I went to Gore last weekend to Marvals to pick up his truck that broke down last week. Which means we also got some fishing in! :)

I caught this lovely 13lbs striper.. :)

He was getting the livewell in the boat ready for some shad. He had us up about 5:30 every morning fishing! :)

This group of kids caught a fish and they and their dad couldn't figure out what it was. So they asked Cody to identify it! It was so funny!

The most important thing we learned on our trip this weekend was deer whistle!! LOL.... Told to us by a lovely gentleman. I thought Cody and I were going to fall out laughing!!

Well this coming weekend, Cody leaves for Hawaii and then next Tuesday my family heads to Sea World!! :) Going to be fun!! I can't wait!

SEAWORLD

My parents are taking me, Luke, Sister, Grayson and themselves to Sea World July 5-8. I can't wait. I have been wanting to take Luke anyways. I had him watching Shamu videos on youtube this morning. He loved it! I can't wait until he sees it in person!!

Marval - Trip #2

Cody took his kids and met part of the family at Marval's this weekend. Luke and I decided to drive up and hang out with them for Father's Day. We got up there on Friday night and played for a little while before going to bed. It's a good thing we got some rest because Saturday was jam packed with activity! Cody got up about 5:30 and went fishing. I stayed with the kids. We got up about 7:00. We laid around for a little bit then got dressed and went to play in the river. I cooked breakfast about the time Cody got back from fishing.

Fishing with Cody Luke got to man a pole for a few minutes while they were taking a trout off another pole. He was thrilled! Cody let him reel this one in.. :) Me and Grace Father and son. Gage is one heck of a fisherman. He caught more trout than anyone!

We had such a good time this weekend! I am looking forward to many more trips like this one! :)

Catfish

Cody and I went fishing last night. He is so fabulous!! And do I need to mention I caught the biggest fish of the night. :) I didn't get any of us fishing but I got a couple of him cleaning them! We fried them up when he got done and had dinner! It was great!! :)

Marval

I have a new friend, Cody. He took me away this past weekend to Marval for a fishing trip.

While Cody fished I got in some reading. It was awesome to lay around and read while listening to the river run.

Turner Falls

April has been going to Turner Falls and taking Grayson. Well I thought it would be fun to take Luke. He had a blast. Next time I will have to remember to take a net for him to fish for minnows!

Family matters most...

One Sunday in May we took some pictures after church! I loved how they turned out. This is my family. The ones who keep me sane! :) And how convienent that we all wore something black. Except Luke and Grayson of course.. :) lol

Comanche Nation Waterpark

Luke and I have been hitting the waterpark about 3 days a week! He LOVES the lazy river! Even with the slides that is about all he wants to do! And Momma is getting some sun while he is playing! :P

Red Dirt Festival

Stacy and I went out to the Red Dirt Festival. It was not very good but we had fun walking around! :)

Last Day of School

The last day of school was hard for me this year. Not because I was leaving all my students for the year, but because my 2 mentors will no longer be with me next year. I would not be where I am today with my teaching career if it hadn't of been with these 2 ladies! I will miss them terribly next year!!
